Mägnús is a 20 year old Canadian Horse. Mägnús was rescued four years ago, when Kathryn was looking for a project to take with her to University of Montana Western's Natural Horsemanship Program. He came with an extreme amount of fear and as a result was highly reactive. While Mägnús has only had the five years that Kathryn has put into him under saddle, yet his wisdom reflects lifetimes of experience. In recent years, Mägnús has discovered what has become one of his greatest sources of passion and of joy, mentoring students in Open Heart Horsemanship’s Youth Horsemanship program! He is what Kathryn calls the "Chiron horse", and is an incredible mentor for those needing to find and trust in their voice.
